FAQ’s

I currently offer original art and prints through my website. If there is something you’ve seen elsewhere that isn’t available on the site (for example, an original painting that I created on my YouTube channel), you may reach out via email or the contact form for availability.

The answer is…sometimes. I typically do not based on my own time constraints of life, however I am always open to discussing a project idea. I don’t usually take commissions, however if we discuss what you are looking for and it sparks my inspiration, I will take on the project.

Things that I take into consideration are the materials you’re looking for (i.e. do you want an acrylic painting, watercolor, sculptural jewelry, etc.), what style you want it in (if you want a pretty close representation of an image vs. if I have artistic freedom), and your timeline.

All commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remainder plus shipping cost is due at completion, before I send the art to you. Please note this will be invoiced via PayPal and not done through the website.

Most of my products are either originals shipped from my home, or they’re prints made in my local city, picked up by me and then packaged by me. If I have product on hand (which I typically do), I will ship within 24-48 hours after your order is received. Larger original art pieces may take up to 5-7 business days to ship as I may need time to source shipping materials. For my other products that are handled by printing companies, their shipping is typically 5-7 business days.

Returns:

I do not accept returns unless an item is damaged during shipping. For me to process a return, I will require photographic evidence of the damaged item(s) and may require you send them back to me to receive the refund (please note this is due to me being scammed in the past).

Prints sent from my home studio will be in a protective sleeve, then sent in a stiffened envelope along with a rigid backing to prevent bending during shipment.

Greeting cards are also packaged together in a sleeve and sent with a rigid backing to prevent bending.

Original fine art is cushioned, backed with cardboard, and sent in appropriately sized boxes.

Kindly note that in order to reduce waste, I may re-use packaging when shipping out art.

I absolutely do NOT use AI to create any of my art. The only time I may use an AI feature is to create a faux background to showcase a way to display my art (for example an artificial image of a living room with my original picture displayed over a couch).

I absolutely DO NOT us AI as any part of my art creation process. My art is all created with my own hands. I also write all of my own descriptions for my pieces and do not use AI for any of my art descriptions, artist bio, etc.

I am located in Central Virginia and I and I make all of my art in my own home studio (or on the kitchen table, or the table set up in the storage room…basically wherever I can based on what other projects are going on and if the kids are awake).

I occasionally bring a sketchbook with me and work outdoors or on location.
